And she got this fantastic picture of Chris Garver of Miami Ink. Looking good and looking dashing. Even at 38! He is my favourite tattoo artist on Miami Ink, other than Chris Nuenez or Ami or Darren or Yoji.
Why Chris Garver?
He's the true inspiration for starting from the very bottom and works all the way up. He graduated from The Pittsburgh High School for Creative and Performing Arts. At 17, he sold off his bass guitar just so he can get tattoo equipment. He started out as an apprentice for 6 months, re-touching tattoos and repairing them. By 20, he moved to NYC where he became a full-time professional tattoo artist.
He plays the bass guitar, loves listening to live bands and travels the world.
